In the fall of 2009 our school completed the process of renewing our accreditation through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). We began this process in May of 2008 by revising our Expected Schoolwide Learning Results and our Vision and Mission Statements. Throughout the past year and a half, staff members, parents and students have been meeting to complete the Focus on Learning report that the WASC Visiting Committee will review to determine our accreditation. The final step in this process will take place from Oct. 25 -28 when the Visiting Committee spends time on our campus and in our classrooms to confirm what we wrote in our report. The Visiting Committee is comprised of administrators and teachers from other school districts throughout California. We look forward to this opportunity to share our wonderful school with them.
